Mickey Rourke fears he won’t bag Best Actor Oscar

Mickey Rourke fears he won’t bag Best Actor OscarWashington, Feb 21 : American actor Mickey Rourke has revealed that he fears he will not be chosen for the Best Actor Award at the Oscars, due to his edgy past relationships with Hollywood movie executives.

Rourke had to spend years away from the limelight following a couple of disagreements with film bosses.

However, his comeback movie `The Wrestler' has earned him the Golden Globe and BAFTA awards.

He has also been tipped for an Oscar.

Rourke, however, is still convinced that he will be shunned by the Academy on February 22 for his past hot-headed behaviour.

"It's voted for by people from the movie business and in the past I''ve hacked them all off. I was good at that. It came easy to me. I stupidly said acting wasn''t a job for a real man," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"I threatened producers, raged at directors, forgot my agent''s name. I really burned my bridges. And a lot of people have long memories," he added. (ANI)
