Melbourne, jan. 26 : New Zealand wicketkeeper Brendon McCullum is insisting that he has no hard feelings towards Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds after the latter labelled him a "lump of shit" during a recent radio program.

Symonds has publicly criticized the decision by New South Wales last week to sign McCullum on the eve of Saturday night''s domestic Twenty20 final against Victoria.

Firstly he labelled the move "un-Australian" as it denied a NSW player a place in the decider, before upping his criticism on radio on Friday night with the rather distasteful comment that is being investigated by Cricket Australia.

Fox Sports, however, quoted McCullum as saying: "Mate, people are entitled to their opinion and I certainly wasn''t offended by it at all. There''s nothing you can do about it. I was over here to enjoy the occasion and certainly did that and it was just a great game to be a part of. I''m not worried what people have to say and certainly not offended by it at all."

While Symonds'' future in national colours is uncertain, the two players could line up against each other in the upcoming one-day series between Australia and New Zealand.

McCullum said he hasn''t felt the need to contact Symonds over the matter.

"No not at all. I didn''t even know it happened until I turned up (on Saturday), so I try not to concern myself with that sort of thing. I had a job to try and do and that''s what my focus was on. What people say is what people say and they''re entitled to their opinion." (ANI)
