30 Sensex down 1% to close at 20,684 during the week ended. Nifty moved down by 0.70% to close at 6,145 during the same period.

Indian market remained directionless before the Credit Policy on 29th October.

Most of the Asian indices were down for the week. The Chinese markets ended lower by 2.8% on tightening liquidity concerns. The Chinese Central bank withdrew cash from the system for the third time in two weeks.
