Marilyn Monroe’s last pics fetch $146,500 at auction
Washington, Dec 17 : Late Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe's last photographs have fetched a whopping 146,500 dollars at an auction.
The `You Were Meant For Me' actress posed for 36 shots for Vogue magazine in 1962, the same year she died.
All 36 photographs were auctioned at Christie's in New York, reports Contactmusic.
These photographs are the last professional images taken of the iconic actress, and were ran in the magazine as a memorial after her death later that same year.
Meanwhile, Monroe's heir, Anna Strasberg, was fined 200,000 dollars, after a judge accused her of "unacceptable shenanigans" in a legal battle over licensing the legendary actress' famous photos. (ANI)
