Manmohan Confident Of Overcoming N-Deal Turbulence

Prime Minister Manmohan SinghNew Delhi: Breaking away his silence on the confrontation with the Left parties, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh sounded self-assurance that the governmental ‘turbulence’ over the Indo-US nuclear transaction will be triumph over.

“Certainly, there is some turbulence here in Delhi but I am confident that we shall overcome it," he stated when asked whether the authorities will proceed with the contract regardless of terrors of serious outcomes from the Left.

Mr. Manmohan Singh has not pointed out publicly regarding the standoff with the Left since he brought in a report on the N-deal in assembly nine days back and his optimistic tone was in sharp contrast to arising supposition that the CPI, CPM and other backing parties would not concede.

“There is a saying when winter comes, can spring be away,” Mr. Singh quipped at a communication with the media together with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe.
