London, Feb 13 : American singer/songwriter Mandy Moore and rock musician Ryan Adams have shocked the music world by getting engaged.

The two were said to have split up after their romance ended in 2008, with Moore, 24, again dating her ex-boyfriend Adam ''DJ AM'' Goldstein as he recovered from a plane crash in South Carolina in September.

But as per reports, the two split up again in December and Moore reunited with Adams, 34, and she was recently seen wearing what looked like an engagement ring on her wedding finger.

"She is so excited... It''s been a whirlwind. She''s really happy," the Daily Star quoted a friend of hers as telling Life & Style magazine.

A spokeswoman for Moore declined to make any comments on the matter.

"We don''t comment on clients'' personal lives," she said. (ANI)
