Man saves iPad, loses finger
A report submitted by local media on Tuesday stated that a man got his finger amputated while trying to protect his iPad from thieves in Denver.
The wounded person, Bill Jordan told the media that he had bought this device last week to pass it on as a business gift. But soon after he was through with his purchase, a pair of robbers attacked him at the Denver shopping mall.
Bill said that he was attacked by a kid who was trying his level best to snatch away his iPad. But the device cord was wrapped around his little finger so he had to put in more effort to grab it.
The next thing that he came to know was that the he was twisted around and that the kid continued to pull the iPad and finally got hold of it while ripping away Bill's finger.
Doctors said that everything was ripped off including flesh, tendons, there was nothing left except the bones.
Wasting no time, he was quickly rushed to the hospital where doctors recommended exclusion of the finger. iPad remained intact.
