Man riding bike to save his marriage

A man is riding a bike in order to save his life. It has been reported by ABC News that Eric Hites, who is 40 years old and has 563-pound weight, has started a huge mission. As per the report, he will be travelling across the entire United States.

He is into the bike ride to get a better shape, so it could be called life-saving. Hites's weight also created problems in his marriage and eventually he and her wife separated last year.

According to Hites, "Mostly because of my weight I was depressed and grumpy and it kind of fell apart". After getting separated, Hites knew he had to take some step and also realized that a grand romantic gesture was needed to show that he could still be a healthy and happy husband.

According to him, "But I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more. To be the man who walked 1,000 miles to fall down at your door". He said that he can't walk 500 miles, however it is possible to do it using a bicycle and he can do that from East coast to West coast in order to get rid of extra weight.

And now, he will be moving in this direction. Hites has already completed two months into his ride. He started in Massachusetts after two doctors conducted checkup and confirmed that he was capable of going for such a huge trip. Hites has also come up with a website, "Fat Guy Across America", where he is showing his journey using blogs and video blogs.
