India's largest utility vehicle maker, Mahindra & Mahindra might be planning to launch its new Verito Vibe model in the India auto market.

According to reports, the company has ready shipped the much anticipated model to the dealerships in the country even before launching it officially in the Indian market. Many people believe that as the models have been shipped to the dealerships, the company will soon begin taking orders for the model from consumers in India.

The model is expected to be powered by a 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine, which already powered the company's Verito sedan. The engine has the capacity to churn out a maximum power of 64 bhp, along with a peak torque of 160 Nm. The engine comes with five-speed manual transmission system with power to the front wheels of the car. The Mahindra Verito Vibe is expected to be a below four metre hatchback based on the manufacturing platform of Verito sedan.

According to sources, the 2013 Mahindra Verito Vibe will be priced close to Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 7 lakh in the Indian market.
