Larsen and Toubro (L&T), construction and engineering major (L&T), announced that it has won three orders worth Rs 966 crore.

The company has bagged orders from Sterlite Industries India, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam and Gujarat Water Infrastructure.

In a disclosure to BSE, the company said that the company’s metallurgical, material handling and water operating company - a part of its construction division has secured these orders.

The company has received first order worth Rs 225-crore order for engineering-related works from Sterlite Industries India Ltd.

The second order, which is valued at Rs 488-crore, has been secured by the company from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam.

The third order, which is valued at Rs 253-crore, has been pocketed from Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd for water supply related works.

L&T's scope of work under the contract includes survey, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning for major process, living quarters and twin flare platforms, all connected by bridges.
