New Delhi, Dec 8 : Popstar Lily Allen says fame has taken a toll on her romantic relationships.

The ‘Still’ hitmaker, who has been linked to celebrities like DJ Seb Chew, Ed Simons of Chemical Brothers, stated that the public glare affects all her relationships, reports China Daily.

"I have had a couple of times when I''ve got to know someone over a few weeks and we''ve had a really great time at my London apartment, just watching TV and having sex,” Allen said.

"And then I get paranoid because I get like, ''I don''t want to leave the house with you because I don''t want us to be photographed together and for us to suddenly have to justify our relationship, when we don''t know what it is yet,” she added.

Allen also stated that she is cynical about dating regular men, who are not famous, as they might be using her as a ladder to get famous.

"If I meet someone who is not part of the showbiz industry, I think, ''should I sleep with this person? Are they going to walk out of here and be straight on their phone?'' "Or you feel, ''Oh, it''s gone naff'', because they are secretly enjoying having their photograph taken. I guess that''s why people go out with famous people,” Allen said. (ANI)
