Lily Allen’s ‘terrified’ over tour ticket sales
London, December 6 : Singer Lily Allen has joked that she is so ‘terrified’ about the ticket sales for her forthcoming tour that she has started buying them out herself.
The Brit singer, who is set to begin her journey in March for her London concert, laughed on Absolute Radio saying that the tour’s ticket burn-out may even have been her label’s doing.
“I’m quite terrified that nobody is going to buy tickets. I bought six of my own!” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
“I think my record company probably bought half of them,” she added.
Speaking of her latest album ‘It’s Not Me’, the performer further said that she hoped to please her fans with her latest wide-ranging vocal efforts.
She said: “It’s varied. It’s got a bit of country on it, a bit of jazzy stuff – but not like Amy Winehouse, Duffy or Adele jazzy, it’s more Twenties.” (ANI)
