Subsidiary of LG Electronics, South Korea, the LGEIL – LG Electronics India Private Limited has declared the launch of its two new handset lines – the KG 288, and the KG 285, in India.

Targeted at the entry-level customers and GSM users in the country, the KG 288, and the KG 285 mobile phones are the latest entry-level mobile handsets from LG.

According to LG, the handsets are the literal packs of highly attractive and impressive features available at affordable prices. The KG 288 and the KG 285 mobile handsets feature TFT 65K color display, phone book memory of 300 entries, 100 SMS storage, excellent speaker phones, dual band, stopwatch, calendar, Sudoku game, and most prominently, an anti-theft tracker. The handsets feature the best keypads in their class.

Additionally, the KG 288 line has FM stereo radio with a hot key for FM radio, and supports FM on speakers, and the KG 288 line has an inbox headset for FM listening. The KG 288 and KG 285 mobile handsets are priced at Rs. 1,949 and Rs.1,649 respectively.
