Leg injury may keep Ronaldo out of Euro clashLondon, Nov. 24: Manchester United’s Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to miss the club’s Champions League clash at Villarreal after picking up a leg injury.

The Portuguese winger was substituted in the 82nd minute of United’s goalless draw at Aston Villa on Saturday and was limping heavily as he left the ground.

The Sun quoted coach Alex Ferguson as saying: “His leg’s in a mess. He’ll be doubtful for Tuesday, I’m sure of that.”

Ronaldo joins Wes Brown, Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves on United’s injury list, while Darren Fletcher hopes to shake off a knee injury. (ANI)
