Left to launch nationwide campaign against UPA Govt from today

New Delhi, July 14 : The four Left parties -- CPI (M), CPI, RSP and Forward Bloc -- will from today launch a nationwide campaign against the UPA Government''s policies, especially its move to go ahead on the Indo-US nuclear deal.

Top Left leaders will address a meeting where they will cite the UPA government''s drawbacks and failures during the past four-year rule.

"We will explain to people the reasons for withdrawing our support. We will also explain the UPA''s pro-American and anti-people policies which are resulting in price rise and other problems," said CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karat.

CPI National Secretary D Raja said that the Left campaign would not centre around only on the issue of nuclear deal, but on inflation, price rise and mismanagement of economy. (ANI)
