Kingston Unveils ‘19-in-1 Media Reader’ In Indian Market
Kingston has made announcement about the launching of its ‘19-in-1 Media Reader’ in the Indian market.
The newly launched media reader backs up 19 most popular types of Flash memory cards, and gets easily connected to the computer through a USB port.
Besides, the new peripheral device has a unique retractable chassis that defends inserted cards.
Nitin Malhotra, Country Manager, Kingston Technology, India said, “The new media reader handles so many different card types that it’s ideal for the consumer or business professional who uses multiple card formats to transfer data, music, photos, videos and other files between mobile phones, cameras, PCs and other devices,”
“Its compact size makes it easy to carry while traveling or keeping on the desktop for quick access,” Mr. Malhotra added.
With dimensions of 3.61” x 2.71” x 0.79”, the new reader offers a data transfer speed of 480Mbps.
It also supports different memory card formats including CompactFlash Type I and II, SD, SDHC, miniSD, miniSDHC, microSD, microSDHC, MMC, MMCmobile (DV RSMMC), MMCplus, MMCmicro, RS-MMC, Microdrive; also Memory Stick Micro (M2), Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo Standardized: complies with USB 2.0 specification standards; backwards compatible with USB 1.1
The other features of the Kingston 19-in-1 Media Reader are integrated LED indicator and self-contained 3? USB cable, convenient small size; no power cable required, added three-foot USB cable for stationary use, complies with USB 2.0 specification standards; backwards compatible with USB 1.1, plug-and-play into any USB 2.0 or 1.1 port and many others.
Compatible with Windows 2000 (SP3 and above), XP (SP1 and above) and Vista, Mac OS (10.x and above), the Kingston’s 19-in-1 Media Reader is available for Rs.995 along with a two-year warranty in India.
