Kingston Rolls Out DataTraveler 400 USB Flash Drive In India

Kingston Technology has rolled out ‘DataTraveler 400 USB Flash Drive’ in the Indian market.

Available in three capacities including 2GB, 4GB and 8GB, the new USB
flash drive comes with MigoSync data synchronization software that let
users to work on several PCs by directly synchronizing records, email,
and Internet browser settings on the drive.

Nitin Malhotra, country manager (India) of Kingston Technology stated,
“The DT400 is the perfect solution to keep documents and settings
completely up-to-date and in sync. Accessing email and keeping sections
of the drive secure through password protection make the DT400 a
powerful device for anyone to stay safely connected.”

The MigoSync software also helps users to navigate between systems
without any difficulty. The users can easily access email on a guest
PC, even when the software doesn’t back up the users’ primary email
application for formats such as Windows Mail, Outlook, Outlook Express
or Lotus Notes.

The integrated SecureTraveler software of the drive permits users to
create a ‘Privacy Zone,’ where users can create and maintain a
password-protected area of the drive to keep information confidential.

The other features of the DT400 includes data transfer rates of up to
20MB/sec read and 10MB/sec write; enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost on
Vista-based systems; Hi-speed USB 2.0 compliant; Capless design;
MigoSync supported email clients; MigoSync supported Internet browsers;
SecureTraveler security software for Windows included; Migo operating
language in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese,
Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Thai,
Portuguese, and Dutch.

Supported by a five-year warranty and free technical support, the
Kingston DataTraveler 400 USB Flash Drive is available through Avnet
India, HCL, Ingram Micro, Kobian Electronics, and Transtek Infoways in
the Indian market.
