KEC Intl bags orders worth Rs 111 crorePower equipment maker KEC International has made announcement that it has secured three orders worth Rs 111 crore from different conglomerates for power transmission related works.

The company stated in a communiqué to Bombay Stock Exchange that it has procured the said three orders in the Middle East and Australia, besides India.

While commenting on the occasion, Mr. Ramesh Chandak, MD and CEO of KEC International, stated, “We are happy that we are bagging orders both in international and domestic market simultaneously. This keeps our order book ticking across the business segments and geographies resulting in a healthy mix.”

Out of the three orders, the conglomerate has bagged first order of Rs 58-crore for diversion of transmission lines from TRANSCO in Abu Dhabi in the Middle East. The project is scheduled to be finalized in the next 18 months.

The second order of Rs 26-crore has been received for tower supply. The order will be executed in Tasmania, Australia.

In the domestic market, the company has been awarded Rs 27- crore transmission line order by West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company. The project is slated to be completed in 18 months.

Scrip of KEC International ended the day in green at Rs 268, up 4.22% on  Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The total volume of shares traded on BSE was 54,695.
