Kavveri Telecom Products Ltd (KTPL) has announced that the company has acquired US-based Spotwave Wireless Inc. and Canada-based Spotwave Wireless Inc. through the Company's wholly owned Canadian Subsidiary, Kavveri Technologies Inc.

The company statement said that Spotwave wireless is specialized in providing products for indoor wireless coverage solutions.

India-based, KTPL engages in the design, development, manufacture, and implementation of hardware, products, and solutions for the telecom industry worldwide. Its products include various antennas, RF components, cables and connectors, repeaters, fixed cellular terminals, and solar products. The company provides off-the-shelf wireless coverage solutions in buildings, shopping malls, and remote areas.

With this acquisition the Company is introducing intelligent adaptive repeater In-building solutions which will be a key strategic addition to Kavveri's existing In-Building Product and Services business.

The stock closed today at Rs. 295, up 5% compared to previous close of Rs. 281.
