London, Feb 13: Hollywood actress Kate Winslet is getting some styling tips for this year's Oscars from her daughter Mia.

The 33-year-old star is tipped to win the Best actress gong for her role in The Reader at the Academy awards.

And her eight-year-old daughter Mia will help the actress choose her Oscar dress.

"She''s a bit of a fashionista. Just last night, she said to me, ''Mum, just a personal question, why do you wear so much black?'' and I was like, oooh, busted!" the Mirror quoted Winslet as saying on US chat show The View.

"Then I said, what colour do you think I should wear? And she said ''Pink! Oh actually, no not pink, as no-one over the age of 10 should wear pink.'' So she''s going to help," she added.

Winslet has already won Golden Globe and BAFTA awards for her performance as a former SS officer in The Reader. (ANI)
