Kate Winslet plans to throw Oscar party even if she doesn’t win
Washington, Feb 13 : Even if she doesn''t scoop gold on the Oscar night, Kate Winslet is planning on marking her sixth Oscar nomination with a bash for friends and family.
The 33-year-old is nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in post-war drama `The Reader' and will fight it out with Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Melissa Leo and Meryl Streep.
The actress is hoping for glory at the upcoming Academy Awards - but will celebrate with a party even if she doesn''t walk away with a trophy.
"You just don''t know what''s going to happen. This is my sixth nomination, so it will be the sixth time I''ve attended an Oscar ceremony and that in itself is a great honour," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
"I don''t take the nominations for granted. If it happens, then great. If it doesn''t then I''m still going to have a party," she added. (ANI)
