October 12th, an evening marked by spectacular stars and their scintillating performances. No, the star studded evening was not another award function but the dusk commenced the grand curtain raiser of ‘Karzzzz’, directed by Bhushan Kumar which is due to open in theatres on October 17th

The function was organized at the Andheri sports Complex, Mumbai. The movie which includes star cast of Himesh Reshammiya, Urmila Matondkar, debutante Shweta Kumar, Gulshan Grover, Raj Babbar & Danny Denzongpa is a remake of 1980 Subhash Ghai hit "Karz". This film is produced by Bhushan Kumar & Kishan Kumar of T-Series and directed by Satish Kaushik. The movie aims to discover various psychological motives that drives a human being to commit certain atrocious acts so as to fulfill one’s need of greed. Various characters in the movie reflect various personalities in real life.

The event was hosted by ‘Jassi’ fame Mona Singh and MTV’s famous Cyrus Broacha. They were joined by Vineet from Saregama and Akriti Kakkar. Riya Sen looked amazing in her black attire who performed on a medley of "Tere Liye", "Lagi Choote Na Junoon" and "Sisak". Amrita Arora followed suit and danced on tracks "Mirchi", "Tandoori nights" and "Jumme Raat". Tulsi Kumar also set stage on fire following Neha Dhupia’s rocking performance on "Tera Mera Mera… Suroor", "Aameen", "Shakalaka Boom Boom" and "Zara Jhoom Jhoom". The beautiful Amisha Patel enthralled the audience on numbers "Soniye Soniye", "Janabe Janiya" and "Jhalak Dikhlaja". 

While setting the stage ready for the grand opening of the movie, the protagonist of the film, Himesh Reshammiya arrived in a decorated auto rickshaw along with some kids who danced to his numbers. The Music director-singer turned actor was honoured by the film’s director on stage with a platinum disc. The actor was touched and obliged by Bhushan’s gesture. 

During the event the stars were also joined by Bhushan’s director wife Divya Khosla Kumar, Shweta Kumar, the heroine of 'Karzzzz', Tulsi Kumar, Vinod Bhanushali, director Ajay Kapoor along with the rest of the team. The 'Karzzzz' curtain raiser was sponsored by T-Series and Star Plus and bought forth by Carving Dreams Live, a part of Carving Dreams Entertainment.
