Kalpataru Power gets orders worth Rs. 955 crore
Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has secured orders worth an impressive Rs 955 crore for supply and installation of transmission line from several companies from different areas.
Kalpatura said that it has received orders from various countries including Uganda, Armenia and the Philippines. The company received a Rs 405 crore order from Power Grid Corp for laying a high-capacity electricity transmission line in the country.
It also recieved orders for two transmission lines worth Rs 260 crore in Uganda and for the installation of transmission line worth Rs 140 crore in Armenia, it said in an official statement said.
Kalpataru also said that it has won a Rs 65 crore contract in the Philippines. The company also received an order worth Rs 85 crore from Oil and Natural Gas Corp for revamp of the electrical system in Hazira.
"Our domestic order book has a healthy mix of orders from various clients, with an average delivery period of 2 years," said Kalpataru Power Transmission executive director Manish Mohnot.
He also said that the company is expanding its presence in the international market and is entering two new countries.
