Jonathan Trott takes England on the top of the test match against BangladeshThe British batsman Jonathan Trott has registered his first ever double century in his test career on the second day of the first test match against Bangladesh. Trott’s double ton has ensured the home team on a comfortable and commendable position in the test match.

From the over night score of 362-4, England have managed to score a 505 all out in 125 over. Trott has scored unbeaten 217 in this match. He has become the seventh English batsman and 14th overall to score a test double hundred at Lord’s.

In the lower order T Bresnan and Swann has scored 25 and 22 respectively. James Anderson was the last batsman out for England with 13 runs. Bangladesh bowler Shahadat had picked up five wickets in first innings.

So far as the Bangladesh first innings is concerned, its openers have come out strong. They put 67 runs without losing any wickets till tea break. Tamim Iqbal was unbeaten on 42 while I Kayes was batting on 22.
