Jindal SAW bags domestic & International order worth 1000 crore Jindal SAW Limited (JSL), a part of USD 10 billion Jindal Group, announced the receipt of orders/ Letter of Intent (the, LOI) aggregating to more than Rs 1000 crores
(Approximate $210 milion) for supply of large diameter pipes and Ductile iron pipes in both domestic as well as international markets.

The company informed in a communiqué that it secured domestic orders from GAIL and HPCL etc., while the export orders have been primarily picked from middle- eastern market.

These orders are scheduled to be executed by March 2010.

JSL is the leading production hub of SAW pipes primarily used for transportation of oil and gas. With latest order win, the total order book of JSL surged to Rs 3600 crore
(Approximate $750 million).

Shares of the company gained Rs 28.3, or 7.74%, to trade at Rs 394. The total volume of shares traded was 85,880 at the BSE (11.39 a. m., Monday).
