Jharkhand Woman Becomes KBC-4’s First Crorepati

Jharkhand Woman Becomes KBC-4’s First CrorepatiThe 37-year-old Rahat Tasneem has become the first participator to win a whopping Rs one crore in the fourth season of popular game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Tasneem, who hailed from Jharkhand's small town 'Giridih', stated that she played really well and used different lifelines 'phone a friend', 'double dip', 'expert advice' and 'audience poll' very smartly.

She also said that she was confused at first and had to make use of the lifelines.

"But, from the stage of Rs 3.20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, I knew my answers and did not require lifelines. When Big B asked me where did I get my confidence from, I replied it stemmed from self-belief and the fact that I knew it all," she added.

About her entry in the game show, Rahat said that she had only Rs 3 in as mobile balance when it started, with a question on Hindu mythology.

The blessed housewife said, "It was October 16 and I had just Rs 3 on my cellphone. I knew I had to enter Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 and the only way was to answer one question via my cellphone. I took a chance and it paid off," she said.

She also said that the day when she received the confirmation call was, coincidently, her birth anniversary plus wedding day.

"I had always believed October 17 was my lucky day and that has now proved true," she said.

And how does she spend this hefty sum she won in the game show?

Tasneem, who created history on KBC, said, "To start with, I will repay all my loans and would like to give better education to my children. Then I would like to expand my stitching center into a boutique and do some charity as well."
