Jermaine Jackson slams critics for suggesting he’s ‘cashing in’ on MJ’s name

Jermaine JacksonWashington, October 5 : Jermaine Jackson has lashed out at critics for suggesting that he is "cashing in" on his brother Michael's death by constantly talking to the media about the late King of Pop.

He said that the allegation that he was using his brother's name to make money for himself was "absurd".

"That is the most ridiculous thing ever. It is not about cashing in on what has happened. It is responsibility on all of our parts as brothers and sisters to keep his legacy alive," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"I would love to see something done in my brother''s honour every year, because he was that well-respected around the globe. So for the media to say this is absurd. It is stupid. It is crazy," he added.

Jermaine, who insists that he wants to keep the `Thriller' star's legacy alive, was the driving force behind a doomed memorial concert in Vienna, Austria, which was scrapped when he failed to pull in enough big names to appear at the show.

Michael passed away in June this year, after suffering a cardiac arrest. (ANI)
