They may have always spent the night at Jen’s place, but in what may be a groundbreaking moment in their recently rekindled romance, Jennifer Aniston, the soon-to-be 40 year-old star of the popular TV show ‘Friends’ spent her first night at John Mayer’s bachelor pad on Thursday.

Jen, dressed casually in jeans, with her hair down, arrived at John’s Pacific Palisades home around 9:30 p.m. carrying an overnight bag.  Not exactly what Jen is used to, Mayer’s place, your typical bachelor pad is not only run-down, it is overgrown with trees, badly in need of a paint job and, most probably his fridge carries only a six-pack of beer and a moldy tuna fish sandwich.

Splitting over the summer after a three-month romance, in what may be a reunion late last week, the pair were spotted kissing passionately at a Ray LaMontagne concert, before sharing a private plane to Los Angeles.

Aniston’s friends are worried about her dating the significantly younger Mayer, believing he may not be around for the long haul and is merely playing with Aniston’s heart.  But, perhaps, they don’t need to worry as Jen’s stay over may just have been to make it an extra special night visit to celebrate the Blues guitarist’s 31st birthday!
