Ever since she won the reality show ‘Big Brother’, Shilpa Shetty has been in news, even though her acting career is at a kind of standstill! She has been getting more international reviews than any Bollywood actress, and has had men drooling over her.

First, it was Richard Gere who swooped on her in public. And now, she has caught the attention of the hottest Hollywood character, ‘James Bond’ Daniel Craig.

Recently, Craig gave some pretty ‘warm’ statements for Shilpa, saying: “She is beautiful and very talented,” adding that he finds the actress’ “smouldering, shapely figure hot enough to be a Bond girl.”

Though Craig of late has been hinting about being interested in Bollywood ventures, this is the first time he has declared his choice for an Indian Bond girl. When questioned about any Indian actresses he knows, Craig told a news daily: “I haven’t met any of the Indian film actors in person except Shilpa Shetty.”

No doubt, ‘Big Brother’ has done Shilpa a world of good – and, it’s not just about men. Despite the fact that she has no international movies on her hands, the actress still manages to capture interest overseas.

After the show, Shilpa attended a reception at the House of Commons to meet with then-British Prime Minister, Tony Blair. In addition, Sky One made a documentary on her called ‘The Real Shilpa Shetty’, produced by Twofour; and she was on the cover of the first OK! magazine launched in India.
