Jade Goddy, who has been part of previous reality show of Big Brother, has been admitted to the hospital as she ignored the forth warning which was from the doctor for the cancer treatment and she went to take part in the Indian version of Big Brother, known as Big Boss. For this show she was being paid 100,000 pounds. She had been operated to remove the cells as she had three abnormal smear tests earlier. Now she is fighting her battle against cervical cancer.

She even ignored the urgent letter to return to the hospital for treatment, after the fourth abnormal smear test, assuming that the ailment would go on its own. One of the very prestigious newspapers quoted her as saying, “I couldn't think about it. You know me - just brush it under the carpet and hope it will go away.”

She further reported, "They'd sent a letter to me ages ago telling me I needed to go in, but I'd been too scared to do anything about it." Goody also thought to enter the Bigg Boss reality show; since she thought the amount of money she is being paid will help her two sons to have proper life, if in case something happens to her.
