Israel strikes two targets in southern Gaza Strip

Israel strikes two targets in southern Gaza Strip Gaza City - Israel aircraft struck at two targets in the southern Gaza strip Saturday evening, hours after massive air strikes against Hamas in the salient killed 200 people.

No casualties were reported in the latest strikes, which hit a metal workshop west of the city of Khan Younis, and a Hamas media centre.

Israel said the strikes come in response to over one week of massive rocket fire from the salient at southern Israeli towns and villages, and said the operation will be 'deepened and widened as necessary." (dpa)
