Infosys’s senior executives to swap postsIndia IT firm, Infosys is refreshing its top leadership and two of its most senior executives, Ashok Vemuri and BG Srinivas are to swap positions in the country.

Vemuri, who has worked as the head of banking, finance and insurance (BFSI), will now head manufacturing and engineering business. On the other hand, BG Srinivas will become the new head of BFSI department after his tenure as a head of the manufacturing and engineering business for Infosys.

Vemuri and Srinivas have been responsible for the largest businesses for the company. There are indications that the company might name one of them as the next CEO of the company when CEO SD Shibulal retires in 2015. Vemuri and Srinivas were included in the board of the company last year.

BFSI accounts for about 35% of the revenues, making it the largest vertical for Infosys while manufacturing and engineering services is the second largest vertical accounting for more than 20% to the company revenue. The company generates revenues to the tune of $6.1 billion.

Infosys said in a press statement that both the leaders will continue to be responsible for their regional responsibilities. Vemuri takes care of business in N America business while and Srinivas heads Europe. The North American market accounts for the largest region in terms of both clients and revenues while Europe accounts for 20% of the company's revenues.
