Infiniti extends model range in Europe with FX37
Geneva - The luxury brand Infiniti is extending its model range in Europe with the downsized V6 FX37 that will be on sale from October together with the G37 limousine, G37 coupe and the FX50 that was unveiled in Geneva.
In combining typical SUV features with sports car characteristics, the FX37 comes with a 320 hp motor and 360Nm of torque. It includes a seven-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifts to further drive home the sporting nature.
Alternatively to the standard 20 inch wheels, customers have the choice of adding 21 inch alloys and electronically-regulated dampers in the sports package. A Multimedia package offers a BOSE 11-speaker sound system, satellite navigation system and optional Around View Monitor which allows for a 360-degree view of the immediate surroundings.
Other standard items are a keyless entry system, Bi-Xenon headlights with adaptive curvature lighting, an intelligent distance control that automatically regulates the distance to the vehicle in front, electric sunroof and six airbags.
Like the other Infiniti models the FX37 also has the innovative "scratch shield" paintwork that repairs automatically small scratch marks. (dpa)
