India Gets Bronze Medal In Wrestling

India has one more cause to cheer. The country has bagged a bronze medal in India Gets Bronze Medal In Wrestling66kg wrestling category in the Beijing Olympics. It is a second medal of the country in freestyle wrestling in the Olympic game history. It is a 6th medal in the history of free India.

Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar got 2nd medal in the 66kg category freestyle wrestling competition on Wednesday. The 25-year-old Delhi-based wrestler has done this adventurous job after the gap of nearly 5 decades. He has become the second wrestler to win wrestling medal after K.D. Jadhav’s bronze in 1952.

He scored three victories on his opponent and won the match within 70 minutes. Sushil took a 2-1 lead in the first round and lost the second round to Kazakh. He won the third round amid the joys and clapping on Indian consignment.

Sushil is also a winner of silver medal in Asian championship. He got seventh place in the last World championship at Baku, Azerbaijan.

He was greeted by PM Manmohan singh, sports minister, President and other dignitaries on his ultimate success.
