I can’t afford an IPL team: Rani Mukherjee
One of Bollywood’s most beautiful actress, Rani Mukherjee has made it clear that she had no intention to buy an Indian Premier League (IPL) team.
Speaking with the media persons, Rani said: “I can't afford it… I don't have so much money. There is no chance that I can buy an IPL team.”
"Right now I don't even think that I can take up so much responsibility because everything of that sort (owning a team, etc) means more responsibilities. I am quite happy doing what I am doing right now," added the 31-year-old actress.
Not only IPL, the actress is also not interested in film production or direction.
“Again with production comes a very big responsibility and so is with direction and I don't think I am ready for that as of now,” said Rani.
It may be recalled that IPL is very popular among the stars of Indian film industry.
Popular Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty have their stakes in IPL teams.
Recently, it was reported in the media that Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan have expressed their desires to bid for IPL teams in the future.
