Multi-talented superstar Hrithik Roshan tore a ligament in his ankle while shooting for his upcoming home production ‘Kites’ in Las Vegas in US.  

The injury took place on the same leg on which Hrithik suffered a 10 cm ligament tear while shooting for action-oriented flick ‘Krrish.’ 

Hrithik had flown off to Singapore for treatment. Afterward he returned to do an item number for their home production ‘Krazzy 4’ subsequent to which his injury worsened.

A source from Vegas who saw the complete action was amazed to see Hrithik continuing work regardless of the injury. 

“A doctor was rushed to the sets immediately when Hrithik yelped in pain. The doctor told him that he needed to rest and could not continue shooting,” the source said. 

However that being the last day of the film’s shooting, Hrithik proceeded and completed his portions.

The source also said, “We thought the Los Angeles leg of the shooting would be cancelled especially with his dad Rakesh Roshan being the producer. But Hrithik is a true trooper and continued shooting with his ankle all strapped up.”

Incidentally, Hrithik’s living wife Susanne and kids Hrehaan and Hridaan have flown to the US to be with their father.
