HP releases Pavilion desktop PCs

HP releases Pavilion desktop PCsHewlett-Packard has released its new Pavilion desktop PCs indicating that the era of the PCs are not over yet and the biggest PC maker in the world is still seriously working on developing new models.

The new models provide workers and consumers the power they expect from a desktop as well as design cues and slimmer form factor found on latest devices such as laptops and tablet computers. The new models have “clean lines, soft forms and contrasting materials” and shows that HP is playing a lot of attention to designs of the PCs.

IF HP is able to create a reputation for the superior designs among its consumers it will be able to build a following n the market and also charge more for the desktops, that still remain a cheap option in the market.

The new models feature glossy black front panels layered over a metallic base. Some of the models feature a tray at the top of the PC equipped with USB ports for easy access. They also come with features such as HP’s Beats Audio, HP Link Up, and the newest Intel microprocessors based on the Sandy Bridge microprocessor-graphics combo chips.

The new machines include the HP Pavilion p7 series, the HP Pavilion HPE h8 series, and the HP Slimline s5 series PCs. The company is also launching a thin HP x2301 micro-thin LED monitor.

“We want to convey that these designs are refined, elegant and sophisticated. These machines are dialects of the same design language,” said Randall Martin, chief design strategist at HP.
