Hewlett Packard Launches Its Line of Sleek Elite Desktops In India

The launch of HP_Elite_Desktopnew series of Elite Desktops, called the HP Pavilion Elite m9000 in high-definition entertainment, in India has been announced by Hewlett-Packard India. The HP Pavilion Elite m9000 line of sleek desktops consists of three different models in 17-inch monitor size.

The new line of desktops from HP has been particularly designed for the people who intend to have a multimedia-powerhouse home PC. It perfectly suits to the tastes of enthusiastic hobbyists, movie lover and gamers, looking to tremendous performance capacity and high-definition quality.

Functioning on an Intel Core2 Quad processor, Windows Vista Premium and NVIDIA GeForce 8 series graphics card, the new line of Elite Desktops also features a first-of-its-kind Dual Format Blue Laser Combo Drive - one single drive which can read both Blu Ray and HD-DVD formats. Additionally, the new line of HP desktops also bundles a LightScribe DVD drive to write on DVD/CD Media.

With an internal 1000GB (2 x 500GB) hard disk space, the HP Pavilion Elite PC offers two dedicated bays for the HP Personal Media Drive and HP Pocket Media Drive for further expansion and flexibility. It’s the first Terabyte Home PC in India.

With a simple touch of the backup button located conveniently in the front, the HP Backup lets the users to choose to backup their internal hard drives to HP Pocket Media Drive, HP Personal Media Drive or their own external storage device. They can also configure their required backup settings and schedule that allows the computer to do the entire data backup by itself.

Accentuated by the signature HP Zen Imprint detailing, the high-gloss finished HP Pavilion Elite m9000 desktops also pack a matching mouse and a wireless keyboard that dock neatly below the blackframed widescreen monitor.

The new line of sleek desktops from HP offers three different models in 17-inch monitor size, including The HP Pavilion Elite m9060 priced at Rs.38,990; the m9070in priced at Rs.50,990, and the Elite m9090in priced at Rs.74,990.
