New Delhi, Aug 27 : With Anna Hazare''s fast entered its twelfth day today, doctors attending the civil society activist raised concerns over his health.

Dr. Naresh Trehan, the head of Gurgaon''s Medicity Hospital and the leader of medical team monitoring his health, said: "We have more concerns than last night. His blood pressure has decreased while heart beats have increased."

"The blood pressure was going steady but it has come down. We have taken blood samples. Due to his weight loss, there is energy loss also," he added.

Hazare has refused to be administered glucose drip. He has been asked to drink a lot of water and told not to strain himself.

Hazare has been on fast since August 16, the day he was arrested and taken to Tihar Jail. He was released the same day, but he refused to leave Tihar Jail. He shifted to Ramlila ground here August 19 where he has been continuing with his fast. (ANI)
