Hayden’s Mongoose bat steers Chennai to victory

Gautam-GambhirAlready struggling to come out of the game lost to Mumbai Indians in their third encounter and the hamstring injury to the Skipper Gautam Gambhir, Hayden's Mongoose bat took Delhi Daredevils by a total surprise. His explosive 93 runs knock successfully steered Chennai Super Kings to a five wicket victory.

Clearly, with the kind of performance that Hayden has packaged for this encounter, Chennai wouldn't have missed the absence of the skipper Mahindra Singh Dhoni. Mongoose is a special kind of bats developed especially for the T20 format. Its inventor Marcus Codrington Fernandez explained the fact that when he was finished with his work he realised that this is a weapon of mass destruction as far as the fundamentals of the T20 game reach.

In fact, Hayden's knock surely testified the same in front of many. Made in a shape of a large handle with a small blade, the Mongoose bat grabbed many eyeballs in the Chennai vs. Delhi match. Hayden scored nine fours and seven sixes in his innings giving ample reasons to other batsman to shift to the Mongoose bat for the T20 tournaments.
