The cult of biking, Harley Davidson comes to the land of snake charmers with its exclusive Harley Owners Group (HOG) club. This club will bring the trend of cruise biking in India as a popular fad among the bike enthusiasts. As HOG wears the tag of being one of the largest owners groups in the world with about 1.4 million members.

Recently after bringing in Marques in India at a price range of Rs 6.95 lakh-Rs 34.95 lakh, company's wholly owned subsidiary- Harley Davidson India, is also looking at some exclusive marketing exercise this year for a bigger brand building initiatives.

The company today inaugurated its third dealership in Delhi with its already existing outlets in Hyderabad and Chandigarh. Besides these outlets, the company is already working on launching two more outlets in other major metros including Mumbai and Bangalore by this year end.

Harley Davidson India Managing Director, Anoop Prakash threw a light on the company's route to establish the drift towards cruse biking in the country. He also mentioned about supporting cruise biking by organizing many events including boot camps and test rides.

Harley Davidson which has a manufacturing facility in US had earlier entered India in 2007 but had to step back because of a 100% import duty.
