Hackers begin publishing stolen data of Italian cyber-police

A group of hackers have started publishing huge amounts of data stolen belonging to Italy's Cybercrime task force.

Hacker group, Anonymous offered a ‘preview’ to 8GB of files taken from the network of the Italian CNAIPIC (National Computer Crime Centre for Critical Infrastructure Protection). Anonymous said in a message with the release that it received the files from a "source".

The CNAIPIC attack is believe to be in response to the arrests of Italian members of Anonymous. The group posted links to first few confidential files on the Pastebin website. The group claims that the files were stolen from evidence servers of CNAIPIC.

The preview pictures show management structure of CNAIPIC, pictures of staff and a long list of all the documents that have been taken. CNAIPIC has not responded to the release of the documents yet.
