Washington, January 26 : Guy Ritchie has apparently trashed rumours that his former wife Madonna's devotion towards Kabbalah played a key role in undoing their marriage, after spending time with the singer and their three children at the faith's New York centre.

The Brit director was said to be the first to turn up at the centre where he was later joined by the Queen of Pop and the kids, putting up a united family front.

Guy left with sons Rocco and adopted David Banda after having stayed for over an hour, followed by Madonna who later left with her 12-year-old daughter from previous relationship, Lourdes, according to reports.

"Guy was smiling and in good spirits and seems to still spend time with Madonna as a family. Perhaps he''s even still practising Kabbalah," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling WENN.

The previous year had seen Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone claiming that his sister's over indulgence in the religion was the main reason behind her split with Guy.

The ex-couple had officially ended their eight-year-marriage earlier this month. (ANI)
