Grasim Industries has touched the level of Rs 2,837.70, up Rs 110.75, or 4.06%. The scrip opened strong and was up by 3 % with in first few minutes of trade. The highest level during the early trading hours was Rs 2,839.50. The intraday low of the stock was Rs 2,750.

There were 8,772 shares for trading on the BSE counter. Yesterday it ended at Rs 2,726.95 after gaining 0.12% or Rs 3.30. The stock looks good at the moment and the investors have big hopes from it.

Grasim Industries is mainly engaged in constructing and trading viscose staple fiber, spun dyed fiber, modal and viscose plus fiber, grey and white cement, sponge iron, chemicals and textile.

Through its subsidiary companies and ventures, Grasim is also engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading paper grade pulp, investment and investment related activities and provision of telecommunication services. It functions five primary business sections including Fiber & Pulp; Chemicals; Cement; Sponge Iron; and Textiles.
