Stockholm - Unkown people spraypainted slogans against Israel on the walls of Israel's embassy in the Swedish capital Stockholm, reports said Monday.

Tabloid Expressen published images of the graffiti including "Smash Israel - you broke the truce," "Die!" and "Don't subject Palestinians to ethnic cleansing."

Police said they planned to step up security at the embassy.

On Sunday, several hundred people braved freezing temperatures in Stockholm to protest against Israel's attack on Gaza. (dpa)
