Google has launched an Android widget for Buzz, a podium for social-media networking. It will allow the user to send post with their exact location.

Goggle has initiated a version of its Orkut social network for Android phones. Orkut was the site which has gained popularity in India but unable to capture US market.

Interestingly in November, a blog on FaceBook reported that, Brazil will become the home of Orkut and FaceBook. Facebook has discovered that its users are increasing at a high rate; Orkut already has a strong user base online. The new Orkut app for Android can help bring users over to the mobile side and help offset inroads by Facebook.

In case Google want to capture its users it need to boosts social networking and nothing is better than introducing mobile social networking. With the increasing growth in the operating system Android will gain strong foothold in countries like India and Brazil.
