Goody’s widower Tweed cleaning toilets in prison

Goody’s widower Tweed cleaning toilets in prisonLondon, October 5 : Rape suspect Jack Tweed has reportedly been given the task of cleaning toilets in jail.

Jade Goody's widower purportedly scrubs communal areas of the prison every day for seven hours.

The 22-year-old, who previously threatened to commit suicide, is glad to get out of his cell at Pentonville Prison, North London, according to jail sources.

"You wouldn''t think that a job as a toilet cleaner would cheer someone up, but it has helped Jack quite lot," the Mirror quoted a prison insider as saying.

"Beforehand he was stuck in a cell for 23 hours a day just stewing with his thoughts. It led to him talking about taking his own life and we were all really worried about him.

"Now he''s much better but the guards Jack are still keeping a close eye on him. The fact he has been getting less grief from the inmates is also good as he doesn''t feel under so much threat," the insider added.

Tweed was jailed after a 19-year-old clubber accused him of raping her at his Essex home, as his pal joined in.

He is due to appear in court on November 16 for a plea hearing. (ANI)
