There has been a deal struck between Jet Airways and Godrej. This deal has been struck for the agreement of the development of the property of Jet Airways. The property is located at C-68, C Block, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), in Mumbai.

According to the agreement, there shall be a development program followed by Godrej, when they shall develop as much as one million square feet of the building which is an office. It is expected to be completed in the next three years.

In this deal, Godrej shall, on one hand, take the debt obligation that Jet Airways has on the area, and on the other hand, it will compensate a sum of Rs. 135 crores for the expenses that have already been borne by the firm. There is also a selling that Godrej has agreed upon. They are of the acceptance that they shall sell as much as 161,460 sq ft to Jet Airways. This space shall then be used to make a well developed headquarters for the Jet Airways.

Jet Airways Group Chief Executive Nikos Kardassis said, "We have been looking for a right partner to develop this property for long. The development of our BKC plot is a strategic decision and we are delighted to be associated with Godrej Properties”.
