Here’s a sad news for Asin Thottumkal die-hard fans.

It is learnt that the gorgeous screen siren Asin injured her right leg while practising Kalaripayattu in Keralafor his upcoming next ‘19th Step’. The swelling in her leg restricted her plans to walk the ramp at a film award ceremony that was to take place a few days later.

In addition to this, Asin has decided not to take any allopathic medicines.

"Yes, that's true," admits Asin.

"It's not just about the martial arts training. I've been brought up in an atmosphere where we don't use artificial foods, sweeteners, spices, etc. In our home, sugar is called 'white poison'. We use only gur. I don't take aerated drinks, chocolates, and junk food. And yes, no allopathic medicines. Only Ayurveda,” said the beautiful actress from South India.

‘19th Step’ is directed by Bharat Bala and produced by Walt Disney Productions.

In this film, Asin plays the role of a princess who is expert in Kalaripayattu, the Kerala form of Martial Arts.
Now the actress is busy practicing the arts in proper manner.

An expert from Kerala is teaching the art to the Ghajini gal in Chennai.

According to the sources, the shooting of the film will begin at the second week of July in Chennai.
