George Takei to lend voice for Star Wars’ animated TV spin-off

George TakeiWashington, Jan 15 : Star Trek veteran George Takei is set to lend his voice for the animated series of the Star Wars series'' TV spin-off `The Clone Wars'.

The 71-year-old actor will voice the role of a nuclear warlord Lok Durd in an upcoming episode of the sci-fi series.

"I was cast as a grotesquely obese guy in Disney''s Mulan, and now again in Clone Wars," Contactmusic quoted him as telling TV Guide magazine.

"I just love the way the new (George) Lucas animation technology makes my fat jiggle," he added.

Meanwhile, a Star Wars toy, similar to the one used by Luke Skywalker in the movie, is all set to hit the UK shelves.

The gadget, called Force Trainer, allows kids to use The Force and control a ball using brainwaves.

The device boasts a headset that picks up players' brain activity and then moves a ball around a 10in high clear tower. (ANI)
